8 months old development

Can anyone please tel me if my dd is reaching her milestones.
She has just turned 8 months old.

She can sit unaided, clap, roll from room to room, run in baby walker, say mam mam and dad dad,blow kisses, sort of dance and bum shuffle backwards.

She very rarely laughs (only for siblings), cannot crawl or pull herself up with furniture.

I'm guessing it's just because iv seen other babies her age doing this stuff so I'm thinking she's not up to speed and there's a big age gap between her and siblings so I cannot quite remember the milestones she should be reaching.

DS2is 9 months and has only started crawling properly and pulling to standing within the last 2 - 3 weeks.

According to our health visitor, this is the age when they usually start that I find of thing, so not crawling at 8 months doesn't sound too worrying, particularly as she's rolling and sitting unaided.

Can - sit unaided, laugh, say da da (as a random noise not at her dad), roll (but chooses to do so rarely)

Can't - wave, clap, say ma ma, crawl, pull herself up, blow kisses, dance, bum shuffle

So I would say your baby is doing great. Looks like mine has a way to go!

I have a ten month old that doesn't crawl. Don't use a walker either. They will go at their own pace.

My pfb couldn't crawl or pull himself up at this age. Enjoy it while they are still immobile

I found this chart from the WHO useful for the major milestones - it makes it really clear how huge the age range is for each one. OP - your lo is totally normal

It's only for gross motor milestones, but that's partly because fine motor and social milestones are even more variable.
