They play so nicely a lot of the time but more recently they fight over the same toy, or dd1 will try to do everything for dd2 which results in her having her hair pulled or face scratched by dd2.

Fight over the same toy, grandparent, anything. And it's exhausting me! They play so nicely a lot but then do this!

I've just had my dad round, he does daily. And all they do is get silly hyper, not listen to me, talk over us constantly even though we're giving them both attention. Fight over toys and over their Grampy and say "no my Grampy" etc

I've read somewhere that these are both testing ages for them realising they are their own individual self, and may clash but how can they be so loving and then not in the same week!

I do find that tiredness is a factor involved. Always mid to late afternoon it happens more.

Anyone else?..

Mine are 3.2y and 18m and are exactly the same - in fact I've been browsing for any advice and have hit a few of your threads OP. Seems like we have the same demons. I think we need some internet Wine until we can get some real stuff in later Wink

Teach them how to negotiate with each other without taking sides.

Also if it happens when tired then break them up for a bit.
