And I have no idea how to answer without getting myself into more and more complicated discussions!!! Grin

It might be a bit young for him but "It's Not the Stork!: A Book About Girls, Boys, Babies, Bodies, Families and Friends".

I was going to suggest 'It's Not The Stork' too, which both mine love, the 7 yr old as much as the 5 yr old. It's aimed at 4-6 years olds. 'It's So Amazing' is the next one in the same series, but it's aimed for 7-10s, so I'd guess might be a bit complex for now.

I think I'm fairly laid back about talking about this kind of stuff but even so I found this book really helpful. If I do feel myself becoming embarrassed at their questions it helps hugely to be able to say 'you remember, like in that book' because it feels like it takes the focus off me!

A friend of mine has just bought a Dorling Kindersley book for her ds7. She said isn't was just right for him. Just factual and not too graphic. I used to love "Mummy Laid an Egg" but its controversial.

A trip to the local farm has helped us. DS(6) and DD(3) saw twin lambs being born. There were loads of kids watching and you could have heard a pin drop.
