OK here comes the screaming again

DD2 is screaming again. She has done it all day today. Went to church this morning expecting to be able to leave her in the creche and have a little break, but it was family service so had to take her in with me. Had to come out in the end.
This afternoon she has screamed non stop.
And this evening.
She has gone to bed in her coat as she is obsessed about wearing it.
Still waiting for an ENT appointment to confirm glue ear.
I am tired and fed up of the screaming. Sad

Oh no, poor DD. If she continues screaming this evening/night could you take her to A&E so they can see how bad this all is?

How old is DD2? Have you tried things like warm milk or calpol. That tends to work with my daughter, very calming.

she is in bed asleep now. But getting her there took a lot of doing.
If she does wake and start the screaming then this time I will go to A&E as I don't know how much more we can take. DH is struggling with it too Sad

I have tried everything to calm her recently.
This afternoon I held on to her to stop her from hurling herself off the bed and she still threw herself backwards and banged her head.

poor you :(
Did you go to A&E last night? Have you spoken to health visitor?
I know this sounds silly but maybe you should apply for 'Supernanny' or 'tiny tearaways' as I find those programs can change families lives right around. All their details are easy to find on the internet. Even if you dont fancy being on telly I think they can give you advice via email. Worth looking up maybe.
Thinking of you :)

didn't go to A&E no. Should have gone as I hardly slept and she screeched all night.
She has had a major screeching fit just now and has once again gone to bed in her coat. I am sooooooo tired.

Oh Yorkie. This is not good for you either you know :( Other than A&E I am not sure what to suggest to get you seen quicker.

I will lay it on thick tomorrow at the GP.
I can't continue like this and neither can DH.

this sounds awful for you and DH, and your poor DD must be in such pain. If you don't get proper treatment started via the GP I really would take her to A & E and let them see her, maybe there is something they could start her on immediately. SURELY this level of suffering doesn't just hae to be endured, and I mean her and YOU!

Best of luck.
