dd3 is 12 weeks and has been chewing her fists for a few weeks and trying to hit her toy bar on her bouncer, over the last few days she has been holding her fist in front of her and staring intently at it, then today she grabbed one of the toys and held onto it and hasn't stopped doing it since! it's so lovely to watch her developing day by day Smile

Yey! My 12wo dd is doing exactly the same, although hasn't managed to grab anything yet - I'm willing her on! She's also found her voice this week and is enjoying trying it out at 5am!

When she stares so intently at her hands like that, I imagine her saying to herself "well they look very beautiful, but what on earth are they for"!! Grin

Wait till you get the 'fuck me I have feet too?' phase. It's hilarious.

Mine too! My 12 week old DD is obsessed with her hands right now, she's grabbing everything in sight and even practicing in her sleep.
Love it.

It's so lovely isn't it! My DD is 17 weeks old and puts everything in her mouth well she tries anyway! The other day she was trying her hardest to fit a whole loaf of bread (in the bag) in her mouth and when she couldn't she was getting so cross with herself! Grin

I've got a couple of small toys that you can Velcro round her wrists or ankles so when she waves her hands and feet about this crazy pink butterfly will move too! I'd recommend them. The more the toy moves the more she moves her feet or hands Grin funny as she doesn't know she's actually doing it!

My DD had a set of wrist and foot rattles from Lamaze. They are quite cute, you can buy them from Amazon.

Wait till she finds her feet! I'm going through the nightmare of having to wrestle ds's toes out of his mouth every time I want to dress him, change a nappy, strap him into anything, give him a bottle Grin
He's also discovered that he can squeal at a really high pitch!

My son is 22 weeks and still favours his hands more than his feet! He holds his feet and looks at them intently when the toes curl Grin its really hilarious! He took his time playing with his hands and would be all wet after a good session Wink but he isnt enjoying his feet much. He is almost crawling so doesnt spend much time on his back now Smile but its soooo much fun watching them. I keep making short videos with my phone all the time!!!
