When can Siblings share a room?

I have 2 DS, 2years and 1 who is 6 months and I live in a 2 bedroom house. DS2 currently co-sleeps with us but I have been toying with the idea of putting his cot in DS1 bedroom so that nap times are a bit easier. DS1 naps in the morning and I try to put them both down around 11am but it is really difficult usually ending in a screaming match (not good). They both need the sleep at this time but I wondered if they were both together I wouldn't have to keep running between the two and upsetting each one in turn. I worry that DS1 will try feeding DS2 something small and nasty...?? I just don't know. Any advice?

Ours shared when ds was 2.10 and dd was 8 months. Worked really well and they love sharing now.

We have 22 month age-gap. Ds2 has been in with ds1 ever since he was 6 wks old.
He'll be 7 (yrs) in May
Works well for us!

We have a dd who shared with ds (4 then) from 6 months. We have now moved house so they can have their own room. DD really missed DS but DS did not give her a second thought when he got his own room. It is easier with two boys, no need to worry about puberty as they get older
