DS (15months) will hug anyone who lets him close enough. He will never have met them before, he'll just follow them aroung untill he gets close enough! He is quite huggey with me too (lovely!). I haven't seen other children doing the same. But that might be because I am watching my own! Was just interested as this is a nice topic isn't it?

Very cute!

Jess does this quite a lot too. More so at bedtime. We say give night night kisses and cuddles and it doesnt matter who is in the house they all get hugs and kisses.

The best is when she is sat of the sofa with me and DH and she kisses each of us in turn for about 5 minutes!

Hugs are the BEST!

Sorry I didn't make it very clear reading it back. He follows other children round to hug them!

They're so funny aren't they? Tilly has really fallen for the Polish worker at my parents farm and won't leave him alone poor man!!
Better hugs than hits eh?

DD (2) goes through huggy kissy phases, but definitely has her favourites. Current one is young flirty waiter at local pasta place - she gives him huge smooches and says 'naughty, naughty Leo'
Babies and older kids get kisses and cuddles galore, kids her own age a bit less!

my 20 month old DD sounds the same. She follows the children around playgroup and cuddles them much to their dismay. It normally ends in tears as they get fed up and push her off.

Its lovely though when the cuddle you.

My 3 year old is ALWAYS greeting her friends with a cuddle which usually ends with them both falling to the floor like teletubbies. It's bizarre.
