Isn't it fab?

Ds was 3 yesterday and drew a face complete with ears at playgroup. I was very impressed. I realised that I'm pretty unaware of what he can do, because he has a big sister. Now that she's at school (as of last week) I'm learning all sorts of things about him.

what a clever girl! have to say my son is three and a half and still at scribbling stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!well, actually he can do lines and circles and I don't think he's at all stupid.....but it's interesting the differences developmentally. I think maybe girls 'see' people a bit more or am I totally sexist? my son 'sees' traffic lights and traffic cones and is THRILLED. When I suggest drawing a face inside the circle he's drawn it's as if I'm talking martian - he just is not interested!
