Do they ever come through before the child's two?

I'm assuming yes.

If no, how long after can I expect them (post and I'll work out an average in the way I usually do maths, ie, badly)?

ds has just got all his first set (he's 18 months). They have taken a while to appear completely though - they first started appearing when he was 17 months (along with all his canines as well!

Ah. So DS's temp tonight could be him teething again. He's 21mo and has 16 teeth. Thought we were due a lull in the temp/teething cycle

DS is 28 months and just starting to get his back teeth. His little cheeks are going red & chapped like they did at teething. He is also putting his fingers in his mouth alot. Which he didn't when teething.

My DD has just got her last molars through at age 18 months which is quite bizarre!

dd3 (nearly 21 months) has been getting a molar this weekend. she already had 16 teeth by about 15 months, so we've had a long break in the teething.

she's suffering. so are we all.

DS had a full complement of teeth by the time he was 2. He started early though - first tooth at 4 months.

DD has 16.5 teeth. She is 20 months and her first of the back molars is half way through - it first appeared shortly before Christmas, then a couple of weeks late a bit more pushed through.

So it could be that. Can you be brave and have a poke around in there?

Oh yes - you get a long break. DD has had 16 teeth for over 6 months.

So if he has only just got the canines or whatever I wouldn't expect it yet.

My dd only had 5 teeth by 15 months. She then got all 4 molars through at the same time, during November. The first I knew about it was when she happened to open her mouth wide one day and I was very surprised to see them there at the back of her mouth! She is now 17 months and the rest of them are now coming through also.

Yes, my dd and ds both had all their teeth before they were 2.
