It is 3.30 am. Frequently. He is 7!

Wen I ask him about it in the morning, he either denies it or laughs. Any thoughts? It is not helped by the fact that his sleeping patterns are up the spout because of the holidays.

Does he have a landing light on? As I recall, I I needed to have the landing light on until I was a teenager Blush. In fact at 7 or 8 I went through a phase of particularly vivid nightmares. Possible explanation?

No. His room is next to ours and I can't sleep with lights on!

You could have your door shut? or offer him a nightlight?

A nightlight works for us.

i dunno, i find my lot go through phases of waking in the night, usually coming and getting into bed with me.
i would give him a nightlight or something and I'm sure it'll end as quickly as it started

Hi.

My daughter will be 7 next month and she only sleep with the light on in her room. Not even a nightlight work for her. I found that she sleep through when the light is on. Give me a good rest as well compare to when she is up every hour in the dark waking up the neighbours with her yelling.

I remember how scared I was of the dark and don't want my daughter to feel like she is not safe in her room/bed.

Good luck Smile
