No not dh but my 18 month old.We are always out but on at least one day a week we stay in. When we are not at playgroup swimming nursery rhymetime, I get a few toys out to play with ds2, or plastsine, felts or paints and puzzles and he always says "No" and goes off to play with his football. I put on an enthusiastic voice and play with them by myself making loads of fun sounds!!!! He likes music and we get maracas out e.t.c. and dance to Boogie Beebies, but I can't have that going on all day. And he pays no attention to me.
How do I get him interested in what I am doing, I am worried that when he has his two year check that he'll be doing no puzzles, nothing except for running around with his football.

My ds 26 months is (foot)ball mad His collection of balls of various shapes and sizes has to be seen to be believed! He too would most times choose a ball over any other toy. Not constructive help I know, but I sometimes have the same worries as you moosh.
