I'm looking for a rounded oval baking tin but can only find ones with flat sides / bottom.
I want a half Easter egg shape.
Can anyone recommend one?
TIA

You can bake a cake in a pyrex casserole dish like this media.therange.co.uk/pws/client/images/catalogue/products/140020/large/140020.jpg.
I made the ladybird cake on my profile with one of these. It still needed a bit of carving once it was cool to make it more round, but it was a pretty good shape and better than buying an expensive tin.

Thanks TickledOnion, love your cakes grin

What I really want is one of these and I think my Mum may have one but she's on holiday <sob>

I was wondering about using a round pyrex bowl which worked well for a volcano cake I made before but I need more of an oval (Octonaut Gup A!) so the casserole you suggest may be better.
