Just been bought Silverwood multisize cake tin, i haven't used this type of tin before, using the dividers tgat came with it, i want to make a 10 and 8 inch sponge, how do i go about lining the one side with the spaces on there?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but you just line it as you would any rectangular or square tin.

i know i sound abit of a muppet, but when i put it together and put the dividers in obviously theres gaps on the one side and as i only normally line the base of my tins i thought obviously i'd have to line up the sides.

Yes, you definitely have to line up the sides too. It's a great tin though and I've always had really good results with it.

Tailtwister, the 2nd tier for my wedding cake is 10 inch sponge, which sponge would you recommend for that size, madiera, or ordinary victoria sponge, and how long do i cook it for?
