I have two ds already Evan and the grey stuff you use to do pottery with a ton on the end of it(Dont want to be found on here).Hope that makes sense
So far list for ds3 is:
Finley
Oscar
Rupert(DP likes but I'm not so sure)
Zachary
Maximus
Jacob
don't like Rupert tbh but rest are fine - prefer Finlay or Findlay to Finley. My favourite of those would be Jacob.
Ha I think DP is the only one that likes Rupert. I also like Kyle and Tyler.
I would view Kyle and Tyler as a bit schemey or Chavvy as you say down south - your other names are modern style but adding one of those to the mix does make it sound a bit chavvy - sorry
names I think would go nicely with your other sons names are Keir, Lewis or Joe/Joseph.
I meant to say that your other names don't sound Chavvy, not sure if that came across right.
Jacob goes well!
Amck That's what I worried about too.Yes they do sound a lil chavvy.I like to go for names that I don't hear yelled across the school playground.Everyone hates ds2s name but we all love it and it suits him perfectly
My ds is Josiah, obviously I love it
I know what you mean. What about Alexander? It would go nicely but not sure how common it is where you are. or maybe Thomas or Gregor/Gregory/Greig? I think a classic or medern classic might make a nice trio.
Pearly Lovely name
I think Oscar goes best with your other names/
Other ideas
Gray
Fenton
Drew
Wilson
Hal
Kit
Jude
Rory
Ooh really like Jude and Gray
Gray might be too rhymey with your other DS
Yes of course didn't think of that.Boys names are so hard I've struggled every time
Francis, Frank, good solid grown up names.
Jackson, Guy, Hayden, Mark?
Lincoln?
Finley
Oscar
Rupert
Zachary
Maximus
Jacob
^ these are ^chavvy now? Okaaay.
amck where do you get Kyle and Tyler from? I'm confused. The OP doesn't mention them?
Oh another boy beautician
congrats, we're having a girl (I used to chat to you on the may thread).
I love all of your names you've chosen and most of them were on my not so short list for boys names. I'd also add Isaac, Noah and Tobias to the list.
And I don't think any sound chavvy.
Catching Hi when are you due then? Is it June.
Kyle is just very common here.Im just trying to think of names that go.
Whenever I suggest a name to DP he just says I like Rupert
Hector
Woody
Rex
Monty
Ned
Cassius
Arthur
Benedict
Gabriel
Patrick
Alistair
Everlong - Ha I think DP is the only one that likes Rupert. I also like Kyle and Tyler.
above.
I am only going on the experience of where I am and both names, in particular Kyle have been used to death and mostly on council housing schemes. May be totally different where you or the OP live. Nothing wrong with the names in themselves, but when you add either to the existing names of the OP, it seems to bring them down a bit. No offence meant to anyone.
Whenever I suggest a name to DP he just says I like Rupert
Does he want to name his son after a yellow bear in Tartan trousers??
I like Oscar
Although Oscar, along with Finlay and Jacob do seem to be v.popular ATM in my area atleast.
Tbh though my DS has a name that seems to be v.popular in his age group (and is rated chavvy on here
) but it doesn't bother me so much as we like it.
I quite like Rupert!
Sorry totally missed that post from OP! I was thinking what is she on about!
I love Rupert. Poncetastic.
Linus?
Please use it, DH wouldn't let me
I'm due on the 29th of May, the thread moved really fast and I lost track of it for a while. I'll need to catch up with everyone again.
Not keen on your shortlist ones I'm afraid - don't have the unusual factor of your other DS's? (love ds2's name btw)
I like Jude & Kit too.
Also how about..
Saul
Flynn
Stan
Eli
Jonah
Owen
Grant
Kurt
Edmund
Thank you for all the suggestions.I am going to put some of them to DP he doesn't seem too enthusiastic at the moment.
I'm 21 weeks. I think he would happily wait until labour and try to have a conversation with me about names
Rufus as an alternative for Rupert?
Or Reuben/Ruben?
How about Harrison. We do like Harry but thought maybe a bit too different to the other two
I love Harrison, that was on my shortlist too.
Liam or William?
My little boy is Noah, I really like Oscar and loved Jacob, but already have a Godson called Jacob.
Our friends called their baby Rupert and when I heard it, I couldn't picture a baby being called Rupert! Now I've met him of course it suits him perfectly ;)
Leftfield - my sister's little boy is Deacon, I love it and I've never come across another (although Rupert will probably achieve that too!).
Hi Beutician, I love Rupert (and Rufus). They would be on my list but DH says they are too posh. I also like Jacob and Fin from your list. I'm afraid I'm another who would have worries about Kyle and Tyler. I'm not mad keen on Harrison either for similar reasons. How about Henry shortened to Hal?
Arg I do like Rufus.Rupert is growing on me a bit I just don't want my child to hate his name and that ones a real marmite name so would be a risk
Arlo.
Julian
Reuben
Jago
Marcus
I almost wish I had another ds to name, as I'm totally in love with the name Arlo.
Harrison is the same as Kyle and Tyler imo.
Harry is much nicer.
Oscar is my favourite, but Jacob is great too.
I love Rupert but unfortunately DH has ruled it out for us
Out of the original list you posted I would pick Oscar (which was also on our shortlist)
what about Tate?
i think it goes well with your other boys' names.
Arlo is lovely it reminds me of Harlow I'm sure a celeb has a Harlow.
Ooh love Tate as well
Nate (short for Nathaniel if you want)
Donovan
Lucas
Nico
