Zara is my favourite.

Like Elise. Charlotte is fine, but a bit dull.

Don't like India.

India by a long way, I love it and it was top of my list for DD2 (DH hates it so she's called something else) . Quite like Charlotte. Elise seems to get mixed up with Elsie round here which would put me off (imagine your poor DD having to keep telling people "no it's not elsie it's elise") not keen on Zara either

putri Mon 01-Oct-12 22:30:18

My friend's dd is Zara and always thought her name's adorable. India was one of the name I picked out fir dd2 but hubby said with our surname, the name combo sounded like a hooker name sad I still love India. If we had a better sure name, I'd have fought it grin

birdofthenorth Mon 01-Oct-12 22:52:37

Zara definitely my favourite of those. Classic but never madly popular.

ja9 Mon 01-Oct-12 22:52:40

Love Lottie as shortenend form of Charlotte..

SomeoneThatYouUsedToKnow Mon 01-Oct-12 22:52:49

Elise is my favourite from your list,

Kellywestie Mon 01-Oct-12 22:56:15

India. Was on our shortlist when we had our DS if he had been a she. Loved it then and love it now nearly 11 years later.

QueefLatina Mon 01-Oct-12 23:10:44

I like Zara.

My name is Charlotte but i don't really like it.

If anyone calls me Lottie I want to hurt them. I can't begin to tell you how much I hate Lottie.

Kelerina Tue 02-Oct-12 07:25:20

Elise is my favourite, also like Eliza.

Zara and Elise

Lilka Tue 02-Oct-12 13:48:24

Zara and India

Bonsoir Tue 02-Oct-12 13:49:19

Charlotte and India are both lovely.

Zara and Elise are chavvy not so nice.

Littleplasticpeople Tue 02-Oct-12 13:54:01

Zara is my favourite
Charlotte is nice but dull
Not keen on the others

baskingseals Tue 02-Oct-12 16:29:58

yep, i've always felt that Princess Anne's daughter has a distinctly chavvy air about her.

Jusfloatingby Tue 02-Oct-12 16:38:22

Elise and Charlotte are nice. I think Zara and India sound makey uppy.

exoticfruits Tue 02-Oct-12 16:50:35

EyeoftheStorm Tue 02-Oct-12 20:37:16

I've waited and waited for one of my DCs' names to be described as chavvy and Zara has pipped the others to the post. Feel like I've come of age.

RobinSparkles Tue 02-Oct-12 20:43:04

QueefLatina, what you talking about? You have a beautiful name! wink

I may be biased as I have one. She also gets called Lottie.

RobinSparkles Tue 02-Oct-12 20:44:14

Elise was in the running for her middle name, funnily enough but DH wasn't that keen so we didn't use it in the end.

ImpYCelyn Tue 02-Oct-12 20:47:24

Zara or Charlotte.

Really dislike both India and Elise.

QueefLatina Wed 03-Oct-12 15:33:12

Be careful how long you call her Lottie, it could stick forever!

Despite being in our 30's, mybrother has been known to get my attention in a crowded room by shouting

<kills him>

TurtlenamedMack Wed 03-Oct-12 19:21:32

Elise, mainly because of the beautiful but sad Cute song ' Letters to Elise'. But really, they're all great names, a lovely selection. Why not wait till you meet her, one might fit.

lakeofshiningwaters Thu 04-Oct-12 19:33:32

1. Charlotte - always lovely (unless it's pronounced with the emphasis on the 'lotte')

2. Elise - really pretty without being too flowery

3. Zara - okay but I find the Z a bit harsh

4. India - no, no, it's popular round here (near Cambridge and much loved by posh twits calling Indi-arrrrhhhh Indi-arrhhhrh across the playground)

snowmummy Thu 04-Oct-12 19:45:17

ddas Thu 04-Oct-12 19:48:23

India followed by elise

EllenParsons Fri 05-Oct-12 13:53:33
