shockers my Grandad was was from south Wales but never knew why he was called Lodwig - it was very different to the style of his 8 siblings' names. Pre internet he never found a trace of the name though Googling it now there seems to be quite a few people with it as a surname. He said he got into many, many fights as a boy and refused to let me give my son it as a middle name. (I used his surname instead, we were very close smile).

WookieWoo Thu 23-Aug-12 06:49:21

Charles Walter and Gordon

Charles is my nephew's middle name and we considered it for both if our sons but it didn't seem to suit them.

Dh's paternal grandfather was Kenneth. No idea about his maternal grandfather as no one seems to talk about him!
