I love name threads!

Girls

Carine - Lovely written down, not so nice pronounced.
Verena- Sounds like venereal.
Viola- Gorgeous.
Jacqueline- No.
Jacelyn - I said no.
Malin- OK. Never heard it before. Do you say it mallin or mar-lin? What about Malia, like the Obamas' little girl?
Caroline or Carolina- love Carolina becauuse of James Taylor's song.
Valentina- Too posh.
Athena- Posters
Olympia- makes me think of a fat opera singer... (I am odd.)
Uma- Lovely, but I prefer Una.
Eliane- No
Rohana- No
Loveday- What?! Is this an actual name? (I'm not being facetious, I've never heard it...) It might be quite cool but she'd have to have a strong personality to carry it off...
Sara- Lovely
Phillipa- Nice, bit dull
Leonora- Not keen but that's because of the character in The Hippopotamus (novel by Stephen Fry)
Marie-F rance- Cool, if you have strong French connections
Francoise- See above
Celine- Dion. Nooooooo.
Samantha- Fox.
Clary- Julian.
Celia- Nice
Iona- Nice but be aware that there's two pronounciations- Eye- Ona, and the Welsh Yonna.
Margaux (prefer this spelling)- Did you ever see the Good Life?
Victoria-Lovely, classic, cool.
Dorrit- YABU now!
Julia- Pretty

Boys

Victor- Cool
Cedric- Not my taste
Sean or Shaun- Love Sean
Crispin- Not manly enough
Tristram/Tristan - Not keen
Ludo (Ludovik)- Cute for a boy, not right for a man
Magnus- Cool
Lucius- Too like Lucifer
Theodore- Nice
Player- What?!
Constantine- A bit too much for me...

Feel really bad now for rubbishing some of your names... Just choose what you like, whatever you choose will be great because it'll be your baby.
