Are these initials a problem?

My DH and I have finally decided on Hugo Edward for our baby if we have a boy. The only thing is that our surname starts with an R. So his initials would be H.E.R. do you think that this would pose a problem?

No I've seen far far worse

Well they don't spell anything rude or offensive, so can't really see a problem. I don't think the word "her" will be an issue even for a boy.

I went to do a bad one on ds1 I nearly gave him the initials C.M.A.N it took me five minutes even after it was pointed out to me to realize.

But I think H.E.R is fine.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm sure that I have just been thinking about it too much.

oh I was looking forward to it being really bad - but HER is not a problem IMO either.

(although I can't help but think Edward Hugo runs better than Hugo Edward - just a rhythm thing, though, not an initials thing)

I had to read CMAN a few times before I got it

I think Edward Hugo would be nice. It would get round the problem of the initials and he can still be known as Hugo.
