All lovely names.

I particularly like Quinn, Hugo and Austin.

Cole, Harvey, Tristan, Timothy, Nigel.
John, Ralph, Miko.

Tell us what names your DH proposes so we can figure out where your tastes converge.

Patrick shortened to Paddy. That gives you options when you're fed up of people saying, as if they are the first one ever to say it "Oooh look, Paddy's having a paddy!"

Sorted.

Have met a Milo and a Hugo recently, love Quinn but could be confusing with Fin as you say. Know a Patrick called Paddy, very sweet for a little boy. Not much help though as your DH says no though!

Shame about those names, they are some gorgeous ones there.

Some more ideas:
Rafferty, Orson, Matteo, Matthias, Silas, Fergus, Soren, Zephyr, Amos, Miles, Calvin, Joachim, Quentin?

Diarmuid! Especially as you already have a Finn. (Fionn and Diarmuid folklore names)

ps I agree about Marcus. Great name and very underused. I keep suggesting it to people though!

Austin -- FAB name
Hugo -- great
Paddy -- FAB, with Patrick, Padraic or Padraig on the birth cert
Quinn -- not with Fin
Milo -- A bit predictable with older bro Finn
Oisin -- entering the land of wind and ghosts with Finn and Oisin.

Austin and Paddy are the two I would go for, with Hugo nice also. Another few you might like:
Jonah
Jonas
Joseph
Josiah
Isaac
Marek
Tobias/ Toby

there are some lovely names there..but dh would say no to them all.
i also liked xavier,lorien,zander..but he said they were effeminate!
he is irish and suggested oisin, but i'm not taken with that..it doesn't sound nice with my accent (slightly scouse!)sounds lovely and lilty with dh's..but i would have to say it occasionally so that's a no.think he'd prefer an irich/celtic name though.

it's difficult with the irish names.was trawling a website last night and imo loads sound really, erm, chavvy or over used ie kian, ronan, caolan etc then there are the (imo) dogs name...reilly,murphy etc

i quite liked rohan, but again he said no way.

aaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh!all i want is a slightly unusual name so they don't have to be in a class (like i was) with 4 kids with the same name!

I third Marcus - a great, strong-sounding name.

Quinn is lovely, but looks and sounds too much like Quim.

How about Clay or Wolfgang?
