I know this baby is an individual but his/her name still has to go with Anna to a certain degree and also to give you have an idea of the kind of name we like. We can't agree!
Love Joseph/Joe but DH's uncle has a Joseph. Like Alice but does that sound naf with Anna? Like Orla
Any ideas please??

I have an Anna and another child whose name has the same rhythm and all I can advice is "Go for something that doesn't sound similar when you are shouting it up the stairs!"

I love Joe/Joseph and I don't think that the DH's husband connection is too close. How often do you see them? Theo is another favourite of mine for boys.

I now think that all baby girls should be called Elizabeth . Anna and Elizabeth sound lovely together.

DH got a very close knit family and doesn't think picking Joseph will go down v well but we don't actually see them that often. Plus, I don't want to pick a name that we think is ok but don't love just because noone else has used it.
Elizabeth would be my first choice but it's my sisters name and my mum and neices middle name but love it!

We avoided Elizabeth because it is SIL's name, but I really wish that we had gone for it.

I know two Anna's, one has a sister called Amy and the other has a sister called Lucy.

I think Lucy works well as it's got a similar feel.

What about names like
Marie
Rose
Lily
Sarah
Laura
Emily

They're all classic girls names like Anna is and they're a similar length and feel.

Elizabeth is lovely though, has got to be one of the best girl's names ever
