Hi,

I'm expecting triplets in the Spring - all boys. Two are identical and one is not.
We have a DD already (Phoebe)and I have always struggled with boys names. These are the ones I like so far (not in order of preference):

Dominic
Milo
Charlie
Isaac
Toby
William
Daniel
Harry
Henry
Edward
Nathania l
Fergus
Reuben
Oscar
Max

Probably my favourites are Fergus, Charlie and Reuben but I'm not sure.
What do you think of when you hear these names and which ones would you put together for triplets?
Thanks for your opinions!

I think they are all lovely names and tbh are of a similar type imo , so pretty much any combination would work well together I think. Perhaps not harry and Henry together.

get over to the Multiples thread!! We have a fab lady there who has 10 year old triplets (erm her name is "triplets")...most of us only have twins but we support each other through the good and bad times! PS, I love Fergus!

They are all great names, I particularly like Fergus, Reuben and Oscar together.

Congrats, wish you all the best with 3 new babies. I think your Fergus, Charlie and Reuben combination sounds lovely.

I like Dominic and William too. How about Benedict or Evan?

I knew triplets called Bart Toby and Joe when I was a child - always thought it was a good combo. but perhaps Bart now a leetle compromised?

I like Dominic, Milo and Reuben.

I like most of the names on the list though - lovely names. Although Charlie seems a bit nick-namey against Fergus and Reuben being formal IYSWIM. No idea whether that matters, just an observation.

Wishing you all the best in the world with your boys!

Or there's always Tom, Dick and Harry

Thanks for your opinions - any other suggestions welcome too!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego?

Seriously, with a couple of middle names each you can use lots and lots of your favourite names.

If I ever had triplets (crosses self), I'm not sure I would be able to resist giving them names beginning with the same letter.

I am not helping am I?

I do not like charlie. But I'm American. I don't like it when I hear it there or say it myself I heard someone call their DS "charlie" in Sainsburys yesterday and it actually sounded quite nice So, maybe think if your ds will be going to America in the future and how it will sound there lol
However it is also quite popular at the moment. As a teacher, I wanted to be sure I named DS something that I could be somewhat sure that in at least some years he wouldn't be called by his name and surname initial. But that's just a hang up of mine!

I like Milo and Dominic and Fergus.

GingerbreadFolk - you're not from Cumbria are you? I knew a family with three brothers called Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (followed by a very English surname )
