Benedict was the one name I really wanted had I ever had a boy. Also liked Dominic.

Not too sure about Caspar or Arthur.

I have a Benedict, love the name.
So, obviously that would get my vote, also like Caspar/Casper, not overly fussed on Arthur tbh.

Do you call him Barney for short? If so, I would look at NNs for sibs. Eg Barney and Ben sounds great, Barney and Cas less so.

Other suggestions: Christian? Marcus?

I love Benedict.

I've always preferred Cassian to Caspar but it's still a nice name and goes better with Barnaby imo.

Arthur I really don't like, it's one of those ironic old man's name which i'm not keen on.

Hi again, we found out today that bump is a boy, and DH has vetoed Arthur and Benedict. So that leaves Caspar! But, help please for middle name. I would prefer a longer mn if possible. Caspar seems quite difficult to match with a mn that flows, last name is 2 syllables, started and ending in L.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I have a Benedict so obviously love it. Caspar is a top choice for my current pg. Not so keen on Arthur though

To go with Barnaby I'd say Caspar.

Caspar! It goes well with Barnaby. I had it on my list and DH said a big fat NO to it.

Barnaby and Benedict - too many BBBs for me, but others would like that.

Benedict

Arther definitely. Benedict will inevitably become Ben which is yawnsomely popular. Casper just isnt a very strong sounding name somehow. Arther is great though!

Caspar.

I love Benedict, do not like Ben, which unfortunately it will be. DH says it has to be Benedict and you know it (his words honestly!). I personally like Casper. Don't like Arthur.

My ds2 is Caspar. His middle name is Hugo.

I love the name - obviously, 4 yrs on and it still makes me smile. We don't abbreviate cos we like it in it's entirety. and during Christmas he loves telling people he's a king not a ghost
