I used to know a Drew and a Josh and their mother said they were Indian and English names to me. Not sure if she was right but...

Ravi/Robby
Aran/Arran
Jai

I find most Indian names can be shortened to an Anglicised version. Such as:

Krishna shortened to Kris
Shantanu shortened to Shaan (Shaun)
Siddharth shortened to Sid
Avinash shortened to Avi

we used harry/hari and jay/jai as middle names for our boys, i also love rohan and arun. agree, girls names are much easier though!

I have no good suggestions but I do have a friend called Ronnie whose brother is called Reggie. His parents changed their Indian names when they moved here as babies and heard the names Ronnie and Reggie on the news...

Our friends named their son Hari which we thought worked really well in both cultures.
He is Sikh and his birth name is Sundeep but he prefers to be called Sunny which i think is a nice anglicised version too.
Good luck!

I love Rohan (Lord of the Rings fan), Hari and Ash. Krishnan also works well I think, with nn Krish.
