like it, good meaning, suits baby, child and adult, easy to spell, cant really be shortened-if you like that

It's lovely. Unusual but not wacky. Easy to spell and pronounce.

I really like it. I knew a really nice adult Verity once so it has good associations.
As others have said, it's unusual without being odd.

don't like it - quite churchy, prissy, upper working class

SlartyBartFast · 29/12/2009 13:44

ditto what tispity said.
but it might grow on me

piscesmoon · 29/12/2009 13:59

I disagree with tispity-I don't think it is any of those 3 things. I like it.

Very pretty. I know a lovely lady called Verity (shortened to "Vee") who's very trendy and "with it".

i only know one person called Verity and i cant stand her so it will never be a winner with me!

But even before that it brought to mind very posh spoiled little girls with ponies!

sorry!

Love it, goes well with my DD's names and it would go on the list for future children!

Report
Merle · 29/12/2009 16:42

What's wrong with appearing 'upper working class'?

Report
LadyBiscuit · 29/12/2009 16:45

I love my friend Verity so I'd say yes
