I really like the combination, but do you think these names work together?

I love both these names and they were on my list for a girl. DH disagreed however
. They do go well together.

Both lovely though personally would put them the other way round
Wow! What a great response. Thanks everyone.
Was toying with them the other way round, Kerala1, but our surname is a noun and there's something about two nouns together that I find a bit difficult. Shame, really, as most of the girl's names I like are nouns!
cute, unusual but not too whacky

I think its lovely, but would use a full name and shorten it to Edie, like Edith for example. Edie doesn't pass the prime minister test on its own.
I love it - would use something like this myself if my DH was a little less boring conventional in his name tastes!

Agree with Keralai, Clementine Edie sounds lovely.
There are 3 Edies in my DC's school.

Tis fab!
Unusual but not too wacky.
I think Edie stands as a name in it's own right so dont think you need Edith.

Love it, I always do the "age" test, ie can I imagine a baby, toddler, young girl, teen, adult, and I think Edie Clementine would suit all ages. Some names are lovely on babies and young children but dont sound right on a grown woman.
