Baby names

Can I have some opinions on these boys names?

Have namechanged because I'm not one for mentioning possible names to people before DC has arrived, but I'd like some honest feedback on these boys names please.

If you'd automatically think 'Tweenies' when hearing Milo, for example, that would be nice to know...!

Toby
Leo
Arlo
Milo
Jasper
Ellis
Theo
Maddox
Max
Felix

TIA!

Like Toby, Milo (not tweenies for me), Jasper, Theo.

Max and Leo ok.

Don't like Arlo, Ellis, Felix.

Can't stand Maddox.

Out of the ones you have listed i really really like:

Toby
Theo
Max

Not too keen on:
Felix - reminds me of the cat!
Jasper - reminds me of jasper carrot

The rest are nice as well.

Hope that helps

Toby, Milo, Max, Felix, Theo

Maddox makes me think of Angelina thingy.

love Milo (my DS), like Max, Toby, Leo, Theo

Not keen on the rest

Hmm, does that just mean I like names which end in -o?

Maddox would immediately think of Angelina Jolie's son

Jasper would think of Jasper Carrot

Ellis would think of Ellis Island

Toby Theo and Max are nice. Ds2 would have been Max except that it is my sisters name!

I am afraid that I think of Toby and Max as dogs names,
and Felix is the cat food,

Milo does make me think of the Tweenies, I prefer Miles.

I really like Leo, Jasper and Theo

Arlo and Ellis are (no real opinion)

I like them all except Ellis and Maddox.

I have a Jasper, and I've never regretted calling him that for a second. Great name.

Toby probably my next favourite.

Toby - like it
Leo - OK, I think of it as a starsign really
Arlo - Never heard of it, so not keen
Milo - tweenies and that tweenie's voice!
Jasper - name for a pet
Ellis - surname IMO
Theo - I think of theology
Maddox - angelina jolie's child
Max - nice
Felix - cat

Toby - Like but does make me think of a dog sorry
Leo- Love this, I think Leon is even nicer
Arlo - really? Never heard of it, don't like it
Milo - I like this name but the tweenies thing put me off
Jasper - I had a cat named Jasper, he was ginger and bit everyone, suppose if I forget all that it's quite sweet
Ellis - really dislike, not sure why
Theo - Yep love it
Maddox - No Brangelina copycat
Max - Love
Felix - would be nice if the cat food hadn't ruined it

Love Toby (was one of the names I considered for DS)
Felix = 'Oh Felix!' (cat food)
Max and Theo are nice too
and I agree that Maddox just makes me think of Angelna Jolie

I love Leo and Hugo as names that end in o.

i think Theo will date. Max I like but there are lots out there.#

Leo and Hugo are the most classic of the o names.

Instead of Max, what about Bruce or Gus

Arlo is awful but I like Arnaud.

In Devon we call wasps Jaspers.

Jojay · 02/10/2009 22:29

I've heard the wasp thing before - they call 'em that in the New Forest too

A Jasper is either a cat or a carrot.

I see you've included Felix and Milo too - are you sure you're not pregnant with kittens?
