Short middle name to go with Bethany

Any thoughts, or do we plump for the obvious Grace or Rose?

Ad while I'm on, your thoughts on Bethany? It was mentioned on here a month or two ago for being chav but me and DP both really like it, it's quite soft sounding, and all the Bethany's I teach are delightful (about 4 through the school so not too common).
Wanted something with religious connotations but not too obvious like Mary, Teresa, Catherine (although do love Catherine)

Jane?

I like Bethany, it's nice. Don't think of it as chav.

I was going to say Jane too.

I know a Bethany May - lovely.

Re religious connotations how about a biblical rather than a saintly name?

I hadn't thought of Jane - it's my middle name too, so that might be nice. I like some of the others on the list too, particularly Faith and Kate.

Rebecca is nice I think - popular, but still nice and normal. Love Leah but would not fit with our surname.

I would be carefull with Jane as kids will be cruel with 'bj' for initials.

I like Bethany but my DD (13) has a friend called it and she was nicknamed 'beth-fanny' so that is the only thing that would put me off abit. I prefer just Beth really.

I like......

Not a short middle name, but my daughter is Bethany Jasmine. And she hasn't (yet) been called BJ. She is 11 and says she cares not one jot if people choose to call it her! Good on her I say!
