IS there anything I can do or do I just say 'they dont have middle names' when asked????

I didn't chose them! Have NO idea if I could change them, How would I go about that? Would it matter where they were born?

They are unusual but I don't think they are horrible names at all. Is there a story behind your reasons for choosing them? I always think middle names are a good way to use more unusual/individual names that you wouldn't use as a first name.

I don't think you should change them. They'll be a great talking point.

How old are your children? Do they have an opinion on this? Just wonder if it would be worth sticking with them until they could make their own minds up.

Names get chosen for a reason, is the reason no longer valid? I am intrigued by your story now! Just wondering how they were chosen and why the change of heart now?

Oops sorry for not getting back till now!

Right..

Morgane is 3yrs old

Joseph is 23mths.

I chose Morgane, X chose Joseph as its a Family name, he's the 5th Generation Joseph now and I like the name anyway
I wanted "Joseph Isaac" but X said No to it, he decided he'd chose the middle names cos I apparently chose their first names

Anyway, I hate them, the Friedemann is from X's BIL who is german & the Vennecia is X's sister who is Half Italian....

What would you do? They are too young to have their own opinions.....

Shall I wait until they decide if they like/hate them? Or change them now before they realise?

Btw, X (M & J's Father) has not much to do with them, nor does his Sister/Bil side of the Family - their choice entirely. And I guess it feels a little out to have a part of them there when they have nothing to do with them?

Who cares about middle names? When do we ever use them? Don't worry about it.

I think it's not so much the names you don't like as what they represent - your X and his family and their choices/lack of involvement with the children.

Leave it to your children to choose, after all for the most part they will be known by their very nice first names and the middle names will hardly come into it.

Fluffyanimal, I think your very right there.
Will leave it for them to chose, as you have said middle names will only be used on forms & such in later life?
