Would you put this name with this surname?

I saw a name I liked on here the other day but not sure with our surname.

The name would be ROSA LEE

What do you think?

I don't think it sounds too bad, but people might mistake it for 'Rosalie' which is a name in itself.

I was also worried about Rosa Lee being the cockney slang for Tea

No. Rosemary with Rosie or Romy for short would be nice.

I can't believe how Ruby caught on. I liked that years ago, but thought every one in my office would say "Murray".

I wouldn't do it. It sounds like one word. I loved Rosa too but had a similar problem with our last name.

There's a bluegrass song Mountain RosaLee. Quite a nice one to sing, too.

i think it needs a middle name to break it up perhaps like

Rosa Jane Lee or Rosa Katy Lee

that will stop it sounding like one joined up name.....

That is a good idea Leanna but when you go the doctors/class register etc they dont use your middle name dh still not convinced

Or use Rosabelle Lee and just call her Rosa for short. that'd get aroung the doctors stumbling block... Rosabelle is very pretty...x
