That was my gran's name. Everyone called her Rosie though.

I like Rosetta/Rosette/Rose/Rosie better, I think. Rosina is ok, though.

How about Rosalie, Rosalind, Rosalyn/Rosalin, Rosamund or Rosa.

I like Roisin. Quite like Rosalind although I'd never use it. I like Rosabel, if that's a name?!

Rosina sounds strange. Sorry to the poster who's grandma was called rosina.

indeed Bloss...I am german and it does sound much like Rosine , i.e, raisin...which is probably why I don't like it...

Well, my name is "Golden Princess" in Irish.
Shame it means "foreskin" in Hebrew, so not popular with people from Israel!

In theory, I like it, but it reminds me of a book I read when I was young called 'Rosina Copper', about a horse. But that's just me, I'm sure.

I first found out on Mumsnet ( where else?) I think it was CountessDracula who informed ne? But then i was tol the same thing by an Israeli patient.

What is the name!? Give me a clue if you don't want to say. Is it a name I'd know, I've run through all the usual suspects in my head and I can't think of a name that means golden princess!

My friend's daughter is called Rosina - named after an older family member IIRC. Pretty name and lovely girl!
