It sounds Persian to me, I like it but would be worried if it might sound silly if with a very English sounding surname.

What assumptions would you make about someone who had the name I mean. I knew I'd missed something off my post. Like the explanation!

It's Polish lula. I wondered about it not matching our surname.

I wouldn't make any assumptions, I think it's unique enough not to have connotations.
It's also made me remember a name I love, Cassia, so that's going on my shortlist.

lol well we are low socio-economic status so that wouldn't matter I don't usually put that much connotation on names tbh. I think it's really pretty but I'm not sure if it would suit our family. Not sure it would go with Zora too. I really want to use it though.

I read it as Kaiser in the title and straight away thought of Chiefs!

would hate it if it were my name as no one would ever call me kasha!!

lol at Kaiser, not so good That's one of my cons for the name Majeika, I don't want them to go through life correcting people on the pronunciation. Although people still call DD Laura.

It will always get pronounced Kas - i - a.

Which is lovely.

BUT when I see the spelling I think of Khazi.

Sorry

Kas-i-a - which reminds me of somewhere like that where Bananna Man lived. Anyone remember that?

Was that Acacia or something?

I actually prefer the pronunciation Ka-zee-ah but I didn't think it was good to change the pronunciation. Bit like pronouncing Niamh Nee-am-ha. Not so cool
