What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SoupDragon · 26/11/2008 10:10

Not one I'd choose.

Tigerschick · 26/11/2008 10:11

I know at least 1 MNer with a DS called this.

I like it - could be for a DD or a DS ...

Fimbo · 26/11/2008 10:11

Not for me

LoolaBoys · 26/11/2008 10:16

THis is the name of my imaginary DS3

nappyaddict · 26/11/2008 10:17

I like it

MissyK · 26/11/2008 10:24

Giggles at Loolaboys

I'm 17weeks & we know it's a boy & this is the only name that I can think of that stays in my head for more than 20 minutes, I can't imagine anything else sounding right Even the MW refered to the bump as Riley yesterday so I must use it a lot

I know a supercool Riley who's about 30. I really like it.

thell · 26/11/2008 10:29

I like it too

Just out of interest, how do you know he's a boy at 17 wks?

scorpio1 · 26/11/2008 10:30

I own one who is 6. people always love it in RL

thell the NHS trust where we live don't tell you at the 20week scan so we had a private 4d scan the other week, it cost £65.
I know it's not an essential thing to know but it has helped DS (4) adjust to the idea of a baby. "Will my brother like my trains" etc

If ours had a policy of not telling I think we'd do the same. First time round we wanted to know to help DH adjust!!

Congratulations BTW

MissyK · 26/11/2008 10:38

thanks

DS2 is not called Riley.

MissyK · 26/11/2008 10:50

Thank god my DH doesn't play snooker!!

Tigerschick · 26/11/2008 11:04

LOL @ snooker table

Tommy · 26/11/2008 11:12

do you think he might get called "Blimey O"?

LaDiDaDi · 26/11/2008 11:19

I like it.

PestoMonster · 26/11/2008 11:23

Was just going to say the same as you Tommy

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 26/11/2008 11:32

I love it, great name

PestoMonster · 26/11/2008 11:34

And if he ever decided to write his autobiography, could just use the title

"The Life Of"

Nighbynight · 26/11/2008 11:38

it is a nice name, but says blimey o and Life of to me too

sorkycake · 26/11/2008 11:41

Well where I live, it would be considered a bit 'common' or in MNspeak 'chavvy'.

I do like it, but I wouldn't choose it because there are quite a few here.

tootiredtothink · 26/11/2008 11:52

I love it - my dh banned me from using it for ds though .
