Eve is perfect.
What about Nina which means girl- as Xanthe means blonde haired?

Toomany Rose, Mays and Graces IMO.

We considered Nina as a first name but middle name needs to be one syllable.
i do love eve because it means life and shes so precious to us (as im sure all babies r )

Isn't Xanthe Eve going to be hard to say? Too many "e" sounds?

Report
Megglevache · 21/09/2008 23:43

I doubt the two names will be used together too often. My dd has three names all of them together sound really odd, lots of assorted strange sounds and then there's our 4 syllable surname.
11 syllables in all. I knew I should've called her Pat.

What letter does your surname start with?

The reason i ask is that Xanthe Eve together sounds to me like Xan Thieve, which i guess isn't too bad unless your surname starts with 'S' (Xanthe Eve Summer, for example sounds like Xan thieves summer)

Or do i just think strangely
