makes me think he'd be a hunk if he was older!!

I also like Sonny for a boy.

It's a bit High School Musical isn't it? I suppose the danger is it could become a bit chavsome. I like Sonny very much though. Edie Jane is lovely.

I suppose they could...your right.
Mmm i know hertsnessex but Its so hard choosing a name I want other peoples opinions! Its all very nice having a traditional name but if we all had them there'd be far too many Elizabeths and Johns in the world! Not that theres anything wrong with Elizabeths and Johns but you know what I mean I hope!

My name has never been shortened either. It is possible although God knows people try! Just be insistent and you should be fine. You can't tell what he will call himself when he is a teenager, but that's just teenagers for you

I think Troy is generally a nickname for the third generation to have a certain name, so James Harrison III (i.e. the grandson of the first) will be known as Troy.

Puzzled by Sonny as a name. Isn't it like calling someone "Youngfellermelad?" Or "Chickabid?" It's a pet name, surely? Or what policemen in old fashioned drama call peope they are arresting "Come on sonny, let's be having you"
