It's actually for a character in a book but I need a fairly posh name but with a slightly hippyish vibe, preferably one that can easily be mistaken for another name or one that lends itself to silly nicknames. I was thinking Cressida but that's not quite right.

Anything from Arthurian legend is generally a good bridge between hippy and posh

What are the other characters called? You want something that will flow nicely with the other names.

You lot are great :) Olympia is a good one but it's such an ugly sounding name - what's the history with that? (My character gets a lot of stick because of her name.)

Laetitia - the posh Latinate version that gets mistaken for more modern versions such as Latisha (and even the mythical La-a) plus the rather unfortunate Titty?

Lettice?
