Love it!

Pluto30 · 21/01/2017 22:28

I like Piper a lot.

It's become very popular where I live though.

mrssmith79 · 21/01/2017 22:30

I like it Smile

Vandenessa · 21/01/2017 22:32

Very American, and reminds me of oranges are the new black. Not that those matter. In the same category as Harrison et al

Dolwar · 21/01/2017 22:40

Reminds me of a stripper in coyote ugly tbh

Moresaltedcaramel · 21/01/2017 22:45

'He who pays the piper calls the tune'.
It's not a first name.

indigo13 · 21/01/2017 22:45

I dont like how it looks when written down, I just see pipe, which isn't such a nice word!

calamityjam · 21/01/2017 22:45

Reminds me of Piper Halliwell from Charmed and yes, I love it. I also love Hadley for a girl, also Americanish

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/01/2017 23:06

I like it.

8DaysAWeek · 21/01/2017 23:25

Love it

Pluto30 · 21/01/2017 23:33

It's not a first name.

It's been used as a first name since the 18th century, actually.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 21/01/2017 23:38

I wanted Peppa for DS if he'd been a girl, everyone tried to persuade me to use Piper instead.

I still prefer Peppa but Piper is almost as nice Wink

AmyInTheBoonies · 21/01/2017 23:41

Same vein as Courtney, Brittany etc. Not a good choice imo

PlymouthMaid1 · 21/01/2017 23:44

I want to like it but the more I say it, the more irritating it becomes.

Carnabyqueen · 21/01/2017 23:46

Love it. Short and cute.

ScarletSienna · 21/01/2017 23:49

So many names get shortened in the playground and I can't get over hearing, 'Pipe' or worse 'Pie'. I know it would have got shortened to 'Pie' for me in my rotund early teenage years.

Aside from that, it isn't my taste but then I don't like first name/surname male/female ambiguous names generally.

DoloresVanCartier · 21/01/2017 23:49

Absolutely love it and have since charmed came out years ago

Isadora2007 · 21/01/2017 23:51

It can vary so much with accents so think of your most chavtastic local accent and say it with that...

I like it. I know one Piper in real life who is 11 I'd imagine with orange is the new black it will be more popular now too.

SixFeetUnder · 21/01/2017 23:55

I love it and was my first choice if I'd had a girl.

Only1scoop · 22/01/2017 00:03

Awful

Piper Alpha disaster
Pied

Sophronia · 22/01/2017 00:08

Not keen. I think it's going to be the new Harper.

DramaAlpaca · 22/01/2017 00:09

I don't like it at all.
