How are these names for twins

I'm currently expecting twins, a boy and a girl and have come up with the following names:

Sally Rae
Gabriel William

It is yet to be decided if they will have the surname Jackson or Taylor, although we're swaying more towards Jackson. Definitely want to keep Sally in my daughters name but apart from that changes will be considered. How are these names; any suggestions?

Gabriel William is gorgeous. Im using Gabriel for a boy. Its becoming very popular now.
I'm not keen on Sally Rae. Although it does roll off the tongue.

Why not combine or hyphen the surnames? Taylorson, Tackler, Jackler, Jayson?

I love Gabriel William, but not keen on Sally Rae. I like Sally, though. Maybe Sally Anne, Sally Jane, Sally Jo?

Sally is my number one hated name.
Rae is cute.

I like both names but do think they have a different feel to them. Gabriel William to me seems very classic whereas Sally Rae seems more modern and "snappy". Not a problem of course!

Gabriel is gorgeous. And Gabe is a great nn.

Sally Rae Jackson sounds very old fashioned Americana and doesn't 'go' with Gabriel at all.

Sally Rae Jackson is pure trailer trash American country singer.

Sally Rae Taylor is equally as trashy btw.

I do think Sally Rae sounds like a country singer Grin but I like the name Sally.
I really don't like the name Gabriel, but it's personal taste rather than any reason I can give you !

I love Gabriel William

I like Sally (although it was traditionally a nickname for Sarah in case you want to go down that route and have both options).

I strongly dislike the Rae/Mae middle name trend but I have no real reason why - personal taste I suppose. If youre in love with it then use it and stay away from baby names forums.

I'd choose Sally/Sarah:
Elizabeth
Victoria
Olivia

Sarah nn Sally might be better.

Love Gabriel & it goes well with your middle name & both surname options.

I don't like Sally & although Rae is a pretty middle nAme it doesn't go with Sally.

Do you have any other female names you like?

Sally Rae does sound very country when put together - but it's probably not a deal-breaker if you really love them. You use first and middle names together so rarely.

Gabriel William is nice.

I don't like Sally.
Reminds me of "sali" in French, which means "dirtied"

I like Sally and I like Rae, but Sally Rae is a bit 'Waltons'.

I think the following go better with Gabriel William ( which is lovely):

Sally Emilia
Sally Charlotte
Sally Felicity
Sally Elizabeth
Sally Isabella
