Presume you mean Seamus rather than Seumas?!!!

I'd go with Rory but spelt like that.

Ruaraidh and Seumas, lovely names.

Felix and Noah
Sorry don't like any of them. 😞

I don't like any of them either. Think that Seamus is the nicest. I also like Felix and Noah and could also come up with other names too.... but I know you aren't asking for other suggestions.

How is Seumas pronounced?

I like Seamus a lot.

Report
Sophronia · 17/11/2016 19:59

I like Sorley and Seumas

Report
Elbi · 17/11/2016 23:20

Sorley would be easy to misinterpret as 'Sorely', no? As in 'sorely missed'. Quite like Moray.

I only like Ruaraidh but I had to copy and paste it as couldn't spell it from memory! Still like it though.

Are you Scottish, op?

I quite like Murdo, how about Alistair / Alistair?

Report
JudgeJudySheidlin · 17/11/2016 23:53

Not keen on any & in particular MurdoConfused

Lucked · 17/11/2016 23:59

My husband always says "There's been a Murdo" in s taggart voice when he hears that name. I still like it though

I am going to go with Moray like the firth, not heard it as a first name but people will recognise it when they see it written down.

Not keen on your other names.

Is this your final list or are you open to suggestions?

Presume you mean Seamus rather than Seumas?!!!

Seumas is the Scottish version of Seamus. Pronounced in the same way as far as I'm aware.

Excuse my bad manners in completely ignoring your list (not crazy about any of them) but what about Keir and Fergus? They sound like a cool pair of Scottish brothers.

CaptainWarbeck · 18/11/2016 04:10

I like them all, except for Greig (just not a fan), Graeme (bit wishy-washy) and Murdo (bit old man-y).

Sorley is lovely, I know a few baby Sorleys. Ruaraidh is a classic and Seumas is nice too.

Moray is quite cool but maybe a bit try hard. If you're in Scotland OP none of these names will be an issue despite the reception they're getting here!
