I had a little girl five days ago and am having a hard time deciding on her name.

We already have a boy and a girl (Liam and Katie) so it needs to be something that goes with that...

Current favourites are Nina or Josie, with other contenders Leah and Sadie.

She is a red head at the moment, and (if anything like other two will be strong willed).

What are people's preferences? Our surname is Bell if that makes a difference too?

tIA, sleep deprivation means making this decision feels crazy hard xx

I couldn't really tell what will suit her without a squishy newborn photo I'm afraidgrin

I love the name Sadie and if we'd had another girl that would have been her name

Nina is my favourite from your list. I also like Leah.

Congrats on your baby girl flowers

Nina Bell wink

Congratulations

Leah would be my favourite out of them.

Congratulations.

I see Liam and Katie as being irish-ish, Josie and Sadie are both irish-ish (my aunt Sarah was aunt Sadie)

not overkeen on Lia (lots of mias/tias/rias etc.) and Nina seems more 'continental' iyswim?

ThroughThickAndThin01 Wed 02-Nov-16 19:37:35

Sadie

Congratulations

Nina
Gorgeous but not too popular

SlinkyB Wed 02-Nov-16 19:38:07

Congratulations! I agree we need a photo grin

I'm afraid I think Sadie is too similar to Katie, and Leah too close in sound to Liam.

My suggestions would be Marnie, Sophie or Sophia. Will she have a middle name? And are you currently calling her Baby Bel?! grin I took a week to name ds1, don't rush.

GentleOnMyMind Wed 02-Nov-16 19:38:58

I think Liam and Leah are too similar but the others are lovely.

Josie, I love it.
Josephine Bell
Josette Bell

I like Nina and Sadie best. I agree with pps that Leah is too similar to Liam and I'm not ever so keen on Josie.

Propertyquandry Wed 02-Nov-16 19:41:56

I think both Sadie and Josie go best with your other names. Congratulations.

ruthietoothie Wed 02-Nov-16 19:50:14

Hah, here she is contemplating what name she likes best.

On middle names, it would most likely be Patricia or Leah after my granny's.

Thanks so much for all the thoughts and preferences. Keep them coming smile

redheadbarmaid Wed 02-Nov-16 19:55:25

Congratulations. She is absolutely gorgeous!

I love all of your names. I think she's a Nina, too grin.

Foxtato Wed 02-Nov-16 20:01:47

I thought Josie sounded lovely with your other 2 but then I saw her picture and I love Sadie for her! Either of those would be lovely. Congratulations smile

neonrainbow Wed 02-Nov-16 20:03:05

I like josie followed by nina. Josephine is lovely smile i think leah is too close to liam but it wouldn't matter for a middle name. So josie Leah

Bostonbullsmumma Wed 02-Nov-16 20:04:26
