Be honest, we can't use the name Elliot, can we?

Our DS1 is Billy (William) and the only name we can agree on is Elliot we are registering him on Tuesday!

We have a son named Billy (William on BC) and our 2nd son has arrived, who we would absolutely love to call Elliot.

No, none that we like he is known as Billy (he is now 7) so it wouldn't be fair to start calling him William, I don't think I'd want to, to be honest! Elliot is literally the only one we like! DS1 doesn't even have a middle name, as we were so stuck, so neither will our DS2.

Required" so I can't think of a time when he'd have to say he was Billy Elliot. He'll either be Billy for every day or William Elliot.

I have 2 children...

1 is called Billy (William) and is 7.

Our 2nd son is a few weeks old, we want to call him Elliot.

I did immediately think of the musical so I think others will too. If you go with it just get used to making a little joke about it like " I don't even like the film" or "we're hoping they become famous dances to look after us in our old age". People will comment.
