Very aware that most of these names will be frowned upon by the majority of mumsnetters, but what (if you HAD to) would be your favourite and least favourite?
Middle name is Sally, surname is a single syllable 'S' name.

Everly
Edie
Tallulah
Leni
Noa
Marlowe
Alba
Cooper

Edie is my favourite by a million miles.

I think I probably like Leni the least.

Love Tallulah but not with Sally.

Don't like any of the others sorry.

Edie is my favourite.

Noa is my least favourite. Followed closely by Marlowe (try hard) and Cooper (so boyish).

The only one I've heard of is Tallulah. Don't like any but Edie at an absolute push.

Edie - favourite

Cooper - least

Edie is lovely :-)

Edie very much my favourite but not sure it goes with Sally (too many -ee sounds).

Alba is best with Sally as a middle name I think.

Cooper least favourite closely followed by Leni (which will be heard as Lenny)

Eddie favourite, Alba least as it sounds short for album or a female version of Albus.

I like Edie

Tallulah and Cooper are my least favourite.

I like Alba, and Edie is OK. Really dislike the rest, and my least favourite would probably be Cooper.

Edie sounds nice
I really don't like Noa however, it sounds to similar to the boys Noah.

Edie is ok but some of the others surely aren't girl's names (cooper, marlowe, everly are surnames associated with a comedian, playwright and brothers).

You really cannot use Alba with middle name Sally and surname starting with an S ... initials ASS (see the SHAG thread if you need convincing)

ScarletSienna · 10/10/2016 22:51

I like Edie best but it has the same sound at the end and same number of syllables as Sally which makes it a bit gallopy.

Then again, you won't often say the middle name so it probably isn't an issue.

My opinion...
Favourites: Edie and Everly
Ok: Tallulah and Alba
Awful: Marlowe, Cooper, Leni and Noa

Well that has gone exactly the way I thought it would so far Wink I loved Edie for such a long time and now that it's gaining popularity I'm going off of it.
I'm aware that most of them are a bit American/surnamey/masculine. But I like them. But they are as much names as any, people call their children all kinds of wacky things.
Wondered how many people would make the ASS connection - love the name but did worry me. So unfortunately it's off the list.

All hideous and even if you don't go with ASS for initials think you deserve to be reported to the NSPCC.

Edie is nice. The others I'm middling on, except Marlowe & Cooper which I really dislike (ditto any surname names, esp for girls).

I know an Eadie and she is lovely so it's my favourite name!
