NO!

RiverTam Fri 07-Oct-16 19:40:59

I quite like it. Classic Scottish name. Prefer Kenneth to Ken or Kenny though.

mrsclooneytoyou Fri 07-Oct-16 19:41:13

My brother is a Kenneth. He has always and still does hate his name. HTH

SpeckledyBanana Fri 07-Oct-16 19:41:21

No.

Sugarpiehoneyeye Fri 07-Oct-16 19:42:51

Oh please OP, NO !
How about Kenzie, or Mackenzie ?
Sorry, but It's awful, only suitable for a second name.

Ilovenannyplum Fri 07-Oct-16 19:43:17

Don't do it OP

Saucery Fri 07-Oct-16 19:45:30

No. I do know a teenage one but unfortunately he is doing nothing to promote the revival of the name as he is horrid.

Saucery Fri 07-Oct-16 19:48:00

Kenzie/mcKenzie are A bit common too. Ok for mixed breed dogs but for children.......nah. In fact my iPad tried to autocorrect Kenzie to Menzies, so it is obvs as snobby as I am.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Fri 07-Oct-16 19:48:01

I quite like it .

GreatBunchOfLads Fri 07-Oct-16 19:54:16

Kenneth's not great, but Kenzie is a million times worse.

GoldPlatedBacon Fri 07-Oct-16 19:54:28

Kenny is cool

ThroughThickAndThin01 Fri 07-Oct-16 19:55:42

Awful

BreatheDeep Fri 07-Oct-16 19:56:06

What's the frequency.......?

Muddlingalongalone Fri 07-Oct-16 19:59:24

My baby nephew is a Kenneth. I can't say I love it. I just sing what's the frequency Kenneth at my brother as it was my first reaction & has stuck in my head. Considering some of the names that were supposedly on the shortlist Kenneth is a blessing.

HardcoreLadyType Fri 07-Oct-16 19:59:45

I quite like it, but there is one I particularly dislike. He's in his 70s, though.

chinlo Fri 07-Oct-16 20:00:47

What about Kendrick? The now famous rapper seems to work it pretty well.

Onenerfwarfrombreakdown Fri 07-Oct-16 20:03:06

Nope, reminds me of 1970s smelly farty uncles drinking Tennents lager, leering at pre-teen cousins while making remarks about the scantily clad ladies on the beer cans. Just grim.
disclaimer this may just be my family tho wink

unlimiteddilutingjuice Fri 07-Oct-16 20:06:59

I love it! Excellent and underused.Shortens nicely to Ken. Definitely due for revival. Im a bit biased because I have a lovely ex called Kenneth.

OutnumberedbyFurchesters Fri 07-Oct-16 20:08:41

Not for me. My GDads brother was called Kenneth, so always reminds me of an old man. I have known younger Keith's though.

Kenworthington Fri 07-Oct-16 20:10:13

Even though it's obv MY name- just no. Don't be daft.

TwoKidsAndCounting Fri 07-Oct-16 20:14:21

I like Kenny

everywhichway Fri 07-Oct-16 20:16:48

Kenneth? Ooh, suit you sir!

Groundhogday2016 Fri 07-Oct-16 20:21:09

Really awful.
