I like Eliza.

The rest, not so much. Lydia is okay I guess.

I like Eliza and Martha (my DD's name is similar to this) IMO the others are a bit "horsey" Sorry

Eliza is lovely, Martha or Lydia at a push, no to the others!

I don't like Martha or Eliza. I like Tabitha, Jemima and Lydia in that order.

Tabitha always sounds like a cats name to me (DM wanted to call me Tabitha but DF refused as he's had a cat with that name! must thank him for that one day)

My DSis is a Jemima so I'm biased towards that name Grin

I like Eliza and Lydia.

Martha is average.

Jemima Puddleduck. Tabitha Twitchett. did you not read Beatrix Potter?!

I like Martha and Lydia. Lydia is a lovely name.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 22/09/2016 17:26

I only like Eliza.

I love Jemima and the only thing holding me back is I don't like Jem and I bet that would be the most used nn?!
But we do have similar tastes, I also considered Martha and Eliza. Not sure on Tabitha and Lydia is pretty.

I am so old, I think of Jemima from PlaySchool, I just don't think it's a pretty name.

Out of all of these, I would pick Tabitha myself.

Martha- I know one, it's not for me, tbh.

I really like Lydia, but none of the others I'm afraid!

Jemima - rag doll, Puddleduck,
Tabitha - cat/kitten
Martha - the moaner in 'Martha and Mary' story in the Bible.
Eliza - sly
Lydia - Chlymydia

I'm really sorry, they are all actually lovely names but you did ask. I have known girls with all these names and they were all jolly pleasant people.

I don't like Alice either because it rhymes with malice, although I know it's a very nice name and once again I've known nice ones ( although not the horrid Alice at school who challenged me to a fight! But I digress....

Tabitha is the nicest, I knew a very cool one once and I never think of it as a cat's name.
Don't like the others, I'm afraid, especially Martha.

Eliza is nice, not keen on the rest, especially Jemima which I think is awful (sorry). Tabitha is a cat name and Martha is very plain. Lydia is ok.
