I love Enola - I did know one at school! But I think it's too heavily linked to being a plane (the plane was named after a pilots mum though....)

Also Malachi because here everyone would say 'Malky' and Manoah, just for the quizzical looks and did you make that up comments!

Lastqueenofscotland - yes, I can't hear Enola without thinking of nukes.

Surf25 - Jesse James, Jesse Owens. Great name. Tricky to carry off though.

Sparechange - Inigo is cool.

Avalon, Avon, Afton. Love them. I remember Afton was Cliff Barnes' glam blonde lady friend in Dallas.

I once heard a bloke shouting for his little boy "Legend!" and I thought it was a cool name. That child will not be lacking in confidence I reckon!

Very envious Porcupino I want one! Is she just Marnie or is it short for anything?

Thank you Amanda! A friend of a friend was called Marnie and for years every time DH and I heard it, we would look at each other and go 'hmmm' - finally got to have a baby girl (after fertility issues) and there was no other option really. It suits her perfectly.

I've been liking Margaret lately too. I know Margo / Margot is having a moment. But the Mrs Thatcher association... My husband wouldn't go there!

albert I know it's a shame because I actually think it's really pretty, I think nukes, dp pointed out it's also a song, but I'm not sure how familiar any child in their teens in the 2030s would be with the manic street preachers!
