Thoughts on the name Maisy?

One of my neighbours is a little girl called Maisy. She really suits it.

But, I can't help but think it's one of those names that wouldn't work so well for grown up women with serious jobs.

It's cute and reminds me of Maisy Mouse. Not sure it's ideal for an adult professional person, which she will be one day, but that's just an opinion. Many people weren't too keen on my kids' names but it made no difference to me. Go for what you love!

Yes a agree shoes v cute for a baby but less mature, also forgot to add it could be associated with double barrelled names like Maisy-jane

Somehow all three of those names work better for grown ups than Maisy, but I can't put finger on exactly what the issue is!

Daisy & Maisy are a bit similar, don't you think?

If you shout to the end of the garden for one of them, the other one will think it's them you're after!

I love Maisy.

But not with Daisy.

By the time this generation of kids become adults, there'll be loads of Maisy type names, it won't seem at all 'not adult/serious'.
