Today I read about an American man from the early 20th century called Ivy.

Any other examples? Just for fun.

I think with in the next 50 years or not even that. All names will be neutral gender.
No one will turn a hair at a boy named Rose

The wrestler Big Daddy's real name was Shirley Crabtree. And Anne of Green Gables called her youngest son Shirley.

Sasha is a boy's name, well it's a diminutive of Alexander in Russian. In the same way Nikita is a diminutive of Nicholas. Another well known male name ending in a is Luca.

Whathaveilost Wed 24-Aug-16 22:56:33

I know a male Tracey
So do I. He will be about 53/54 now and a successful business man.

Mary was not uncommon as the obligatory middle saint's name for Irish Catholic boys. I was chatting to a man today whose full name is Noel Mary Timothy Collins. He's in his late forties.
