Middle name for Anya

Think we have decided on Anya as first name. Any thoughts on a middle name. Nothing starting with an R as then her initials would be ARS...

Pretty name. I liked anya belle, anya Maria and Anya Josephine from the above

Lovely name.

As it starts and ends in a vowel, personally I would avoid MNs that also do. So (much as I like them) I'd steer clear of eg Olivia and annabella.

Agree with that Anya Josephine is nice. Think a longer middle name flows well.

Does it help if I tell you I'd have said the same thing if you were thinking of calling her Desiree?

I'd avoid anything starting with S -ASS isn't that much better than ARS...

You'll have to avoid S' s too. ASS? ABS? What about using Anya as her middle name , though she'd be known as it? Obviously Grace would then become a no no GAS! but it may open other options too. Absolutely agree you watch the anagram first but as we don't know the surname, a name you love that didn't work one way, may work another. I did this with DC2 as in case he wanted to be a lawyer I gave him a more formal first name, but used his middle name. He actually now does use both. Midd name for family and school friends and formal name for work colleagues. He likes having both Smile

I was just about to say ditch an S name too. I would rather be an ARS than ASS.
