help with girls names

Hiya, my first baby is due in 5 days a me and DH can't decide on a name, we have a few floating around but can't decide on any solidly. So far we have:
Rosie Mae
Evie Rose
Lara Mae
Eden Rose
Evelyn Rose

Any other names along those lines? I feel like all I do is look for names but nothing is jumping out at me

Unless you have a personal reason for the ubiquitous Mae/Rose mn, i find them a bit dull.

Lara is by far the nicest on your list. Rosie, Evie and Evelyn are all fine. Although I would also suggest using Evelyn and having Evie as a nn. I don't like Eden at all. I would also avoid using Rose or Mae as a middle name as they are so ubiquitous now - every second girl seems to have one or the other as a middle name. I also really dislike the spelling Mae, May is much better.

How are you pronouncing Evelyn? Eve-lyn or Ev-e-lyn?

Personally I prefer the latter pronunciation (and traditionally that is the feminine pronunciation with Eve-lyn being the male version e.g. Evelyn Waugh).

I don't like Mae, and think the names you have paired with it would go with Rose as well (except Rosie!). I know they are both as popular as each other for middle names but I personally feel Rose is more classic and prettier than Mae/May/Mai. Plus Mae makes me think of Maeve Binchy

I love the name Lara and it was almost Dd2's name. I like Rosie too but not keen on the others. I agree with other posters that Mae and Rose as middle names are very common and a bit dull. Why not choose another name from your 'first name' list?

I don't like either of your middle names really. Rose is just the 'go to' middle name for little girls these days (along with Grace) and Mae is a bit meh and just not very nice imo. I don't know why people don't choose another 'unique' name for the middle name, rather than family members or the standard niddle name at the time.
