Help!
Not long to go now and we don't have a shortlist of names for this little girl.... Any suggestions? Something beautiful, strong, a little bit rare..., I would rather she wasn't 1 of 10 Kate's at school!

DS is a Theodore, called Teddy. (When we had him we knew no Theodores nor Teddy's.... Seems there are many around here now tho!)

Surname is double barrelled.

I love Teddy and if this bump is a boy that will be his name. We have a Vivienne and I think they are lovely together.

I came on to suggest Dorothy.

As dolly with nn.

Or they could both be "thee"

Thank you!
He loves Astrid. (He is a how to train your dragon fan!)
What would Astrid be shortened to?

I love izzy but think there may be too many Isabelle's and izzys around...

Dolly is interesting - what is it usually short for?

I don't think you would shorten Astrid? Do you need names that shorten? If so - Astra? As? Asti? Tria? Not very nice, any of them, I don't think. Astrid is gorgeous as it is and only 2 syllables.

Izzy could also be short for Isadora, Isolde, Ysanne, Marissa or Julissa if you want to use it for a more unusual full name.

Dolly is usually Dorothy.

Not Teddy and Dolly, too much of a "toy cupboard" theme.

I know an Astra, it's not short for Astrid, but its similar.

The only Teddy i know is in his teens, and has older sisters called Poppy and Annie.

I agree with Itinerary Teddy and Dolly is an unfortunatle combination.

How about;
Teddy and Jemima (nn Jem/Mima/Mimi)
Teddy and Juliet (nn Julie/Jules/Ettie)
Teddy and Bonnie
Teddy and Bianca (nn Bea)
Teddy and Connie
Teddy and Dorothy (nn Dot/Dotty/Dodie/Dora)
Teddy and Flora
Teddy and Fiona (nn FiFi)
Teddy and Seraphina (nn Sera/Phina/Phinie)
Teddy and Penelope (nn Penny)
Teddy and Primrose (nn Prim/Rose/Rosie)
Teddy and Heather (nn Heddie)
Teddy and Tia
Teddy and Tara
Teddy and Tamsin (nn Tammy)
Teddy and Tatiana (nn Tati)
Teddy and Tiffany (nn Tiff)
Teddy and Francesca (nn Frankie)
Teddy and Elsie
Teddy and Emmeline (nn Emme)
Teddy and Elora (nn Ellie/Lora)
Teddy and Megara (nn Meggie)
