Currently expecting DS2, DS1 is called Jacob Oliver.

So me & DP quite like both Mason and Issac at the minute.

So what are you're opinions?

Isaac George or Mason James

We are still open to suggestions if anyone Smile

Isaac, fab name.

Not keen on Mason, unless you are hoping he will be a whizz with Lego bricks.

Love Isaac.

I'm not a fan of names that are also jobs like Mason, Cooper or Tyler.

Isaac. Goes great with Jacob.

I'm not a fan of either but Issac by a million miles. Mason just makes me think of a really naughty child accompanied by uncouth parents. Who don't give a shit. How their little darling behaves. Katie Hopkins isn't feeling so great so she's asked me to be her for the dayGrin
I'm so sorry to any Masons or Mummy Masons out there, but I guess we all have our opinions and perceptions.

Isaac, but Mason isn't bad Smile

'a naughty boy's name' - sigh...

Isaac goes better with Jacob Smile

Isaac George is lovely.

Isaac. Lovely name. My Sunday school background is going to show here...in the Bible, Isaac was the father of Jacob (and Esau) so the names are strongly linked...but Benjamin and Joseph were biblical brothers and I know a few sets of real life brothers called variations of Ben and Joe!!!

No question about it - Isaac. Mason is an awful name - it's a surname and it's just a bit tacky sounding IMO. They're both very different names but Isaac is definitely far, far nicer. It also "goes" better with Jacob as they're the same type of name (although personally I don't think that matters hugely).

Thanks for the replies! We are leaning more towards Isaac anyway, I feel as though 'Mason' sounds too much like a surname & not like it matters but I don't think it really goes with Jacob with it being more modern name!

Your replies have definitely helped us out! Smile

Not a naughty boy at all!

Isaac is lovely - may be biased though as I work with a gorgeous little Isaac! Goes better with Jacob than Mason, too, I think.
